1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Golden Compass (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Golden Compass is a premium astrology web application that generates personalized natal chart readings based on birth data you provide. The Service includes:

• Submission of birth data (date, time, and location) for one or more individuals.
• Generation of astrological natal chart readings.
• A personal dashboard to manage charts and your account.
• Data export and deletion capabilities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

Accounts are created when you complete a purchase. You access your account via passwordless magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account.

You may request account deletion at any time through your dashboard, subject to a 30-day grace period as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases and Payments

Chart readings are sold as bundles at prices displayed before checkout. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.

Due to the digital nature of the Service, all sales are final once a chart reading has been generated. If you experience a technical issue preventing delivery, contact us for resolution.

Purchased chart slots do not expire.

6. Birth Data and Consent

By submitting birth data, you confirm that:

• The data is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right to submit this data (your own, or with appropriate consent from the individual).
• If submitting data for another person, you have obtained their informed consent or have a legitimate reason (e.g., parent for minor child).

7. Intellectual Property

All chart readings, templates, and designs are the intellectual property of Golden Compass. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use your readings for personal purposes.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit readings.
• Reverse-engineer chart generation algorithms.
• Scrape or systematically extract content from the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading birth data.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Astrological readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They do not constitute professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or psychological). Do not make life decisions based solely on astrological readings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golden Compass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice on the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
