Data Request
For Existing Account Holders
If you have a Golden Compass account, you can manage your data directly from your dashboard:
- Export your data — Download a copy of all your personal data in JSON format.
- Delete your account — Request permanent deletion of your account and data (30-day grace period).
For Non-Account Holders
If someone submitted your birth data to Golden Compass and you would like it removed, or if you cannot access your account, contact us directly:
Please include the email address associated with the account (if known) and a description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.
What You Can Request
- Access: A copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Removal of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements for purchase records).
- Restriction: Limits on how we process your data.
- Portability: Your data in a machine-readable format.
Verification
For security, data requests require identity verification. For account holders, this is handled via magic link authentication. For non-account holders, we may request additional verification.
Response Time
We aim to respond to all data requests within 30 days. Complex requests may take up to 60 days, in which case we will notify you of the extension.
